Maruti uses new Gearless Technology in celerio(car) which gets affordable.
- The celerio is available in both manual and automatic versions.
- Maruti claims that automatic celerio will be able to give mileage equal to that of manual at 23.1 km per litre and it's servicing costs will be like that of the manual version.
- It is significant as automatic version fuel efficiency is 25 percent less than the manual and their maintenance costs are high.
- The technology used in this Gearless car is AUTO GEAR SHIFT (AGS) transmission.
